Remedies In the Kitchen
There are so many spices/herbs in the kitchen that can improve a persons health. I am not in the medical field of work. The information that I post here is from doing my own personal research.
Cinnamon for example is a very good spice. It is one of the many antioxidants. Anti oxidants get the germs that we don't need out of our bodies. Most people use cinnamon in yams, sweet potato pies, tea or coffee for flavor. Cinnamon can also be used to lower a person's blood pressure or A1C level if you are a diabetic. We have to be careful with the cinnamon because if you take too much it can lower the level too much. It is best to just consume 1 teaspoon then see how you feel. When taking the teaspoon don't over fill it. I personal use cinnamon sticks in my smoothie drinks. I use the powder in my yams and coffee. Cinnamon is also good as a fat burner to speed up you metabolism. Consuming way too cinnamon can give a person diarrhea.
I have seen cinnamon in the pill form in pharmacy stores. I have never used or bought it. With anything new small doses is best.
